Trigger and Clear a Pillager Outpost Aircraft Hangar

Locate Parked Aircraft

Pillager Outposts now spawn with aircraft stationed outside. These aren't active threats until you get too close.

• Approach the outpost perimeter carefully
• Look for biplanes, gyrodynes, or airships parked near the structure
• Stay at range to scout before committing

Trigger the Defense Squadron

Getting too close to the outpost activates the defensive response.

• Hostile mobs will man the parked aircraft and launch into the sky
• Multiple aircraft will coordinate against you
• Expect strafing runs and bomb drops

Clear the Threat

Once aircraft are airborne, you can either fight them or retreat and return later when they've dispersed.

Combat approach: Use the outpost structures as cover. Pillagers and Vindicators are predictable in their attack patterns—they'll circle and strafe. Focus on one aircraft at a time.

Retreat approach: Fall back to forest or caves. The squadron will eventually return to base or disperse. You can then loot the outpost safely or destroy parked aircraft before they launch.

Clearing an outpost removes a spawning point for future ambushes in that area.
