How to Fix the Aimz Crosshair Not Showing or Being Overridden

Check Pack Priority First

The most common cause is another resource pack sitting above Aimz and replacing the crosshair texture. Open Options, Resource Packs, and look at the selected list on the right. Drag Aimz to the top so nothing overrides it. PvP packs and UI packs frequently include their own crosshair, so this step usually solves the problem.

Verify the Pack Is Actually Enabled

Confirm Aimz is in the selected column, not the available column on the left. If it is still on the left, it is not active. Also make sure the file is a valid resource pack and sits directly in the resourcepacks folder rather than inside a nested subfolder, which prevents the game from reading it.

Rule Out Other Causes

If the crosshair still looks vanilla, temporarily disable all other packs and enable only Aimz to isolate the conflict. Some HUD or crosshair mods draw their own crosshair on top of the texture, so disable those to test. Finally, reload resources with the F3 plus T shortcut after changing packs, then rejoin the world to confirm the arrow crosshair appears.
