Aimz FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I turn on the Aimz crosshair?
Enable the Aimz pack in Options > Resource Packs and move it to the selected list, then make sure no other pack above it replaces the crosshair. If it still looks vanilla, check that the pack is actually applied and not just downloaded.
Why is my crosshair still the default one after installing Aimz?
Another resource pack is likely loading above Aimz and overriding the crosshair texture. Drag Aimz to the top of your selected packs list, or remove the conflicting pack.
Does Aimz work without Lunar Client?
Yes, Aimz is a standalone resource pack, so it gives you the arrow-style crosshair on vanilla Minecraft and any server. You don't need Lunar Client installed for it to work.
Can I use Aimz on servers like Hypixel?
Yes, it's a client-side resource pack, so it works on any server without being detected as a cheat. Only you see the crosshair change.
Does the Aimz crosshair work in multiplayer PvP?
Yes, the crosshair is purely visual and client-side, so it applies in PvP on any server. It doesn't affect hitboxes or reach, only what you see.
How do I make the Aimz crosshair bigger or smaller?
Aimz doesn't include a size slider, so the crosshair renders at the pack's fixed size. If you need a different size, you'd have to edit the crosshair texture yourself or use a different pack.
Will Aimz lower my FPS?
No, a crosshair texture pack has essentially no performance impact since it only swaps a small HUD image. Any FPS changes you notice are unrelated to Aimz.
Can I use Aimz with other PvP mods and packs?
Yes, but if another pack also changes the crosshair, only the topmost one shows. Put Aimz above any pack that touches the crosshair so its arrow design wins.
Does Aimz change anything besides the crosshair?
No, it only replaces the vanilla crosshair with the Lunar-style arrow design. Blocks, items, and other textures stay vanilla.
How do I turn the Aimz crosshair off?
Open Options > Resource Packs and move Aimz from the selected list back to the available list, then click Done. The vanilla crosshair returns immediately.
