How do I get Agility Enchantment?
You can obtain Agility Enchantment three ways: find it in the enchantment table when enchanting leggings, discover it in loot chests while exploring, or trade for it from villagers. It can only be applied to leggings, not other armor pieces.
What's the difference between Agility level 1 and level 2?
Both levels increase your step height to help you traverse uneven terrain, with level 2 providing a greater step height increase than level 1. The exact step height values depend on your mod version, but level 2 is the maximum and most effective.
Do I need to jump manually with Agility on?
No—Agility automatically increases your step height, so you can walk over uneven blocks without jumping. You'll move through rough terrain more smoothly and efficiently just by walking normally.
Can I put Agility on boots or other armor?
No, Agility Enchantment only works on leggings. It cannot be applied to boots, chestplates, helmets, or any other item.
How do I use commands to add Agility to my leggings?
Equip the leggings you want to enchant, then run `/enchant @s agility_enchantment:agility` followed by the level number. Alternatively, use `/loot give @s loot agility_enchantment:` to receive Agility-enchanted leggings directly.
Does Agility affect combat or damage?
No, Agility is purely a movement enchantment with no impact on combat, damage, or any other gameplay systems outside of traversal.
Will Agility work on stairs and slabs?
Agility increases step height to help you climb over blocks more easily, making it useful for uneven terrain, but stairs and slabs are already designed for smooth traversal and don't require it.
Can I combine Agility with other enchantments on leggings?
Yes, Agility can coexist with other leggings enchantments like Protection, Thorns, and Unbreaking on the same pair of leggings.
Does Agility work in Creative mode?
Agility is designed for Survival mode where step height matters for traversal. In Creative mode, you can already fly and move freely, so the enchantment has no practical effect.
What happens if I lose leggings with Agility enchanted on them?
