Finding Which Advancement Uses a Specific Item as Its Icon

Sometimes you remember the item picture on an advancement but not its name. The icon search is built exactly for this situation, since it indexes the item name behind each advancement's icon.

Searching by Icon

Open the advancements window and type icon: into the search bar, then the item you're thinking of. The mod looks through the item names used as icons and returns matching advancements in the results grid. Because results are grouped by type, you can quickly scan tasks, goals, and challenges separately.

Narrowing Down

If the item name is common, you may get many hits. Combine the icon search with a title or description keyword by running separate searches, or start with a more specific item name. Once you spot the right entry, click it — the mod highlights that advancement in the tree so you can see its position and prerequisites.

This is especially useful for collection-style advancement lines where several entries share similar icons, letting you confirm which one you still need.
