Using the Mod on a Multiplayer Server
Client-side only
Advancement Screenshot Mod runs entirely on your side. The server does not need it, and other players are unaffected by it. That means you can join any server that allows client-side mods and start collecting advancement screenshots immediately, with no configuration on the server.
What triggers a capture
Any advancement you earn fires the screenshot, whether it is a vanilla advancement, a datapack advancement, or one added by a server-side mod. Server-pushed advancements count the same as local ones because the game reports them to your client. You do not need to do anything special to enable this per server.
Things to watch for
- On busy servers the toast may be pushed down by other notifications, so the captured image might show a queue of toasts rather than just yours. That is normal and cannot be reordered by the mod.
- If a server disables advancements entirely, no toasts fire and therefore no screenshots are taken.
- Because all captures share the default screenshot folder, screenshots from different servers mix together. Rename or move them after a session if you want them separated.
- The one-second delay applies here too, so a fast teleport or respawn right after the advancement can leave you somewhere unexpected in the frame.
