Organizing and Backing Up Your Advancement Screenshot Collection

Why organization matters

Every advancement across every world and server dumps into one folder using the game's default screenshot naming. Over a long playthrough that becomes hundreds of files with no built-in tagging. A little housekeeping keeps the collection usable.

A simple workflow

1. After a play session, open the screenshots folder and sort by date.

2. Select the new files and move them into a subfolder named after the world or server.

3. Optionally rename key shots to match the advancement, since the toast text is visible in the image and tells you what it was.

4. Keep a separate folder for milestone advancements you want to feature, and leave routine ones in the bulk folder.

Backing up

Because the files are ordinary images, any backup tool works. Copy the folder to cloud storage or an external drive periodically. If you plan to reset a world, back up its screenshots first, since deleting a world does not delete its captures. The mod itself stores nothing beyond the images, so there is no config or database to preserve. Treat the folder like any photo library: back it up, and prune duplicates you do not care about.
