How to Make Modded Advancements Show Up as Plaques
It Works Automatically
Advancement Plaques does not rely on a hardcoded list of vanilla advancements. It hooks into the game's advancement system, so any advancement registered by any mod is eligible to produce a plaque. In most cases you do not need to configure anything for modded advancements to appear.
If a Modded Advancement Does Not Show
First confirm the advancement actually fired — check the advancements screen or the chat message. If it fired but no plaque appeared, open the config and check your type filters. A mod may register its advancements as tasks, and if you disabled tasks, those plaques are suppressed. Re-enable the relevant type and trigger another one.
Datapack and Custom Advancements
Advancements added through datapacks behave the same way, since they enter the game through the same registry. As long as the advancement is granted to your player, the mod can display it. There is no separate allowlist to maintain.
Checking Conflicts
If plaques appear for vanilla advancements but never for one specific mod, that mod may be granting its advancements in an unusual way, or another notification mod may be intercepting them. Temporarily disable other notification or HUD mods and test again. Also verify the advancement is not hidden — hidden advancements are designed not to announce themselves, and the plaque follows that behavior.
