How to Customize Plaque Appearance with Resource Packs
How the Mod Handles Textures
Advancement Plaques draws its plaques using textures and models that resource packs can override, the same way packs override vanilla textures. That means you do not need a special addon system — you need a resource pack that includes replacement files for the plaque assets.
Installing a Pack Like Embellished Stone
Download a pack made for Advancement Plaques, such as Embellished Stone, and place it in your resourcepacks folder. Enable it from the in-game resource pack screen and move it above other packs if there is a conflict. Reload resources with the standard reload key or by leaving and re-entering the world.
Making Your Own Pack
Create a pack folder with a pack.mcmeta file and an assets directory. Mirror the folder structure the mod uses for its plaque textures, then drop in your own images at the same paths and filenames. Keep image dimensions matching the originals so the plaque frame and background line up correctly. Zip the folder and enable it like any other pack.
Testing and Troubleshooting
Trigger an advancement and check the plaque. If nothing changed, confirm the pack is enabled, sits above competing packs, and that your file paths match exactly — case matters. If the plaque looks stretched or misaligned, your image dimensions likely differ from the originals.
