How to Add and Highlight a New Block in Advanced XRay
Opening the Block Manager
Press the mod's keybind to open the Advanced XRay interface (check your Controls menu if you have not bound it yet). The main panel lists every block currently being highlighted. To add a new one, click the button that opens the block selection screen.
Selecting and Colouring the Block
Use the searchable list to type the name of the block you want to track, for example diamond_ore or ancient_debris. Select it from the results and confirm. The block now appears in your active list. Click its colour swatch to open the full RGB selector and pick a shade that stands out from your other entries — giving each ore family its own colour makes scanning much faster.
Fine-Tuning Visibility
Each entry in the list can be toggled on or off individually, so you can temporarily hide blocks you are not hunting. You can also delete entries you no longer need. If a block is not appearing in the world, confirm it is enabled, that its colour is not nearly identical to a nearby block, and that you are within the configured render distance. Changes apply immediately, so you can test by looking toward a known ore vein.
