How do I open a shulker box without placing it down?
Right-click on the Shulker Box item while it's in your inventory. The Shulker Box GUI will open immediately, letting you access its contents without needing to place it in the world.
Can I open a shulker box that's already placed in the world?
Yes, you can still right-click on placed Shulker Boxes in the world to open them normally. The mod only adds the ability to open them from your inventory—it doesn't change how placed boxes work.
What happens if I close the GUI without taking items out?
The Shulker Box remains in your inventory with all its contents intact. Closing the GUI simply closes the window without affecting the box or its items.
Can I move items directly from a shulker box to another shulker box in my inventory?
You can open one Shulker Box at a time from your inventory. To transfer between two boxes, you'll need to move items through your inventory, or place one box in the world and transfer normally.
Does this mod work with enchanted or custom shulker boxes?
The mod works with standard Shulker Boxes of all colors. Custom or modded Shulker Boxes may have compatibility issues depending on how they're implemented.
What if I'm carrying multiple shulker boxes—can I mix them up?
Each Shulker Box opens its own GUI showing its specific contents, so you won't mix them up. However, it's still a good idea to organize them logically or use different colors to keep track of what's inside.
Does opening a shulker box from my inventory use any resources or have a cooldown?
Opening a Shulker Box from your inventory is instant and costs nothing—there's no cooldown or durability loss.
Can I open a shulker box while in combat or while moving?
Yes, you can open a Shulker Box from your inventory at any time, even while moving or in dangerous situations. This makes it useful for quick access to supplies during mining or building.
What if a shulker box is full—can I still open it from my inventory?
Yes, you can open a full Shulker Box from your inventory. You just won't be able to add more items to it until you remove some.
Does this mod affect shulker box behavior in other situations like crafting or trading?
