Set Up Quick Punishments Using Sanction Templates

Apply Pre-Configured Punishment Templates

Use /sanction <player> [reason] to instantly apply a preconfigured punishment template to a player. These templates are preset by your server administrators and typically correspond to common infractions like spam, griefing, or hacking.

Understand Template Levels

Templates are usually tiered based on offense severity. A first-time spam offense might trigger a temporary mute, while repeated griefing could apply a temporary ban. The mod automatically applies the appropriate level based on the player's history.

Modify Sanction Duration if Needed

After applying a sanction, you can adjust its duration with /editduration <id> <duration> if circumstances warrant a longer or shorter penalty. This flexibility allows you to account for context without recreating the entire punishment.

Document Your Reasoning

Always include a clear reason when using /sanction. This creates a record in the punishment database and helps other staff members understand the decision if the player appeals or if questions arise later.

Sanction templates speed up moderation while maintaining consistency across your server's enforcement.
