How to Enable Debug Mode and See What Tweaks Are Active
If you are not sure whether Adaptive Performance Tweaks is actually doing anything, turn on Debug Mode. It prints information to the server console so you can watch the mod react in real time.
Turning On Debug Mode
Open the Core config file in your config folder and look for the debug option. Set it to true and restart the server. You will now see log lines whenever the mod adjusts a setting, along with the reason it made the change.
Reading the Output
Debug output typically tells you which module fired, what value it changed, and what triggered it (for example, tick time crossing a threshold). Watch the console during a busy period — when many players are online or a lot of entities are loaded — to see the mod kick in. If nothing ever appears, either your server is not under enough load to trigger tweaks, or the relevant module is disabled.
When to Turn It Off
Debug logging is noisy and can fill up your log files quickly. Turn it back off once you have confirmed the mod is working. If you are troubleshooting a specific module, you can leave debug on only for that module rather than globally.
