Build Dense Ground Cover with Grass and Bush Models
Understand Ground Cover Options
The pack enhances short grass and tall grass blocks with fuller 3D models, plus adds custom shapes for sweet berry bushes, dead bushes, and regular shrubs.
Layer Grass Heights
Use both short and tall grass variants in the same area. Short grass creates a base layer, while tall grass adds volume and texture above it. Mixing heights produces natural, uneven ground coverage that feels alive.
Place Bush Varieties
- Sweet berry bushes: Colorful, detailed berry-bearing plants. Cluster them in forest clearings or along water edges.
- Dead bushes: Tan, sparse models for arid or transitional areas.
- Regular shrubs: Dense, rounded shapes that fill mid-level gaps between grass and tree canopies.
Create Realistic Density
Don't space bushes evenly. Group them naturally—thicker clusters near water, sparser coverage on slopes. The 3D models have volume, so overlapping placement creates authentic undergrowth without looking artificial.
Combine with Foliage
Pair ground cover with the pack's bushy tree foliage to build cohesive, immersive forest floors that feel full and lived-in.
