Harvest Tectellus During the Luxtructiosaurus Boss Fight

Locating Tectellus Ore

Tectellus ore generates in the Primordial Caves biome, but it has a unique harvesting requirement: the ore will only drop as an item when the Luxtructiosaurus boss is alive in your world.

Preparing for the Boss Fight

Before engaging Luxtructiosaurus, gather:

• A strong pickaxe (preferably with high mining level)
• Combat gear and weapons
• Food and healing items
• Blocks for building defensive structures

Mining During the Fight

Once you've summoned or encountered the Luxtructiosaurus boss, the Tectellus ore in the Primordial Caves becomes harvestable. You don't need to mine it while actively fighting—as long as the boss is alive somewhere in your world, the ore will drop when broken.

Consider mining Tectellus before or after the main fight to avoid juggling combat and mining. Once the boss is defeated, Tectellus ore will no longer drop, so gather what you need while the opportunity exists.
