Finding Your First Watchtower

Where to Look

Watchtowers spawn in specific biomes: normal forests, flower forests, birch forests, taigas, and plains. Start exploring these areas, especially at dusk or night when the glowing lights become visible from a distance. The towers are tall structures, so climb hills or find open ground to scan the horizon.

Spotting Towers at Night

The mod adds glowing lights to the exterior of abandoned watchtowers, making them visible from far away in the dark. If you're exploring during the day, look for tall structures with vines covering the walls—these are harder to spot but still identifiable by their height and weathered appearance.

What to Expect

Once you find a tower, approach carefully. The structure will be ruined with cobwebs and old furniture inside. Each tower has a randomized layout, so rooms, stairs, and building height vary. You'll find loot chests scattered throughout the interior with random items to collect. Some towers are much harder to find than others—keep exploring if your first few searches don't yield results.
