Disable World Griefing to Protect Your Build
Why Toggle World Griefing
By default, A Breach Happened generates anomalies throughout your world: random redstone torches appear, terrain holes form unexpectedly, and strange structures manifest. If you're building a survival base or want a stable world, these changes can be destructive and immersion-breaking.
How to Disable Griefing
Open the settings menu by running:
`
/function abh:settings
`
This command opens an in-game visual panel with toggleable options.
Locate the world griefing toggle and switch it to OFF. This will prevent:
- Random holes from generating in terrain
- Unexpected redstone torches from appearing
- Structural anomalies from spawning
Note: Disabling griefing does NOT remove the stalker entities, story quests, or atmospheric effects. You'll still encounter the White, Black, and Red Figures and can progress through dialogue branches and dimension unlocks.
Best Practice
Run the settings command early in your playthrough, before exploring heavily. Changes take effect immediately for newly generated chunks. Existing anomalies in loaded chunks may persist.
