View 3D Items in Your World

See 3D Models When Items Drop

Once the resource pack is active, any item you drop into the world will automatically render as a 3D model instead of a flat sprite. This happens for most vanilla items—tools, food, blocks, gems, and more.

To view 3D items:

1. Drop an item by pressing Q (or your configured drop key) while holding it

2. Watch the item fall and land as a detailed 3D object

3. Walk around it to see the model from different angles

4. Pick it up by walking over it—it returns to normal 2D appearance in your inventory

Items That Stay 2D

Your inventory, hotbar, and item frames always display items in their standard 2D form. This keeps menus clean and readable. Only dropped items in the world show the 3D transformation.

Note: Item frames on walls display 3D models of their contents, creating a decorative 3D gallery effect when you place items inside them.
