Fix Arrow Direction for Custom Texture Packs
Locate Your Config File
Find the 2D Projectiles Mod configuration file in your .minecraft/config folder. The file controls how different arrow types are oriented when flying through the air.
Adjust Arrow Orientation
Open the config file and look for arrow direction settings. Each arrow type (standard, spectral, flame, etc.) can be adjusted individually. If arrows from your texture pack are pointing the wrong way—sideways, backwards, or upside down—you'll need to modify these values.
Common adjustments include rotating the arrow 90 or 180 degrees to match your texture pack's design. The config file uses rotation parameters that you can tweak until arrows appear correctly oriented in flight.
Test Your Changes
Save the config file and reload your game or use /reload if available. Shoot an arrow and verify it points in the correct direction. If it's still wrong, try different rotation values until the arrow aligns properly with your texture pack's intended look.
This is especially useful when using custom or modded texture packs where arrow textures may have different orientations than vanilla Minecraft.
