Handle Narrow Ledges and Precision Jumps

Preparing for Tight Spaces

As you progress past the halfway point, rooms introduce narrow ledges and single-block-wide paths. These require pixel-perfect landing accuracy. Unlike wide platforms, missing by even one block means falling.

Executing Precision Jumps

1. Approach the narrow ledge at walking speed, not sprinting

2. Aim for the center of the target block—use the block's texture or edges as a visual guide

3. Jump with minimal forward momentum; a short hop is safer than a long jump

4. Land with your character centered on the block

5. Pause briefly before your next jump to regain balance and reassess

Building Confidence

If a ledge is only one block wide, consider strafing (moving sideways) instead of jumping forward—this gives you more control. Practice in the 40–60 level range where these sections first appear frequently. Save your sprint jumps for wider gaps; reserve walking jumps for narrow platforms. Slow, deliberate movement beats rushed attempts.
