Beat Rooms with Falling Blocks and Moving Hazards
Understanding Dynamic Obstacles
Later levels introduce blocks that fall, move, or disappear after you land on them. These require timing your jumps to match the block's state—landing when it's solid, not when it's falling or gone.
Strategies for Moving Hazards
1. Observe the pattern: watch the block cycle once or twice before attempting the jump
2. Identify the safe window—the moment when the block is stable and positioned where you need it
3. Time your approach so you reach the block during that window
4. Jump decisively; hesitation will cause you to miss the timing
5. If the block disappears after landing, immediately prepare your next jump to avoid falling
Pattern Recognition
Most moving blocks follow predictable cycles. Count the seconds between state changes, or watch for visual cues like block position or color shifts. Rooms in the 70–100 range heavily feature these mechanics. Don't panic if you fail—each attempt teaches you the rhythm. Once you internalize the pattern, execution becomes automatic.
