How to check that the no-reload behavior is working
You can confirm in a few steps that the mod is doing its job. The mod only skips reloads when your pack setup is unchanged, so you need to test both cases.
Test 1: no changes
1. Open Options and then Resource Packs.
2. Do not move anything.
3. Press Esc or click Done.
4. You should return to the game or menu right away, with no resource loading screen.
Test 2: with a change
1. Open the resource pack screen again.
2. Enable, disable or reorder a pack.
3. Click Done.
4. The game should reload resources normally. This is expected, because your selection changed and the game needs to apply it.
If a reload happens when you changed nothing
- Check whether you moved a pack by accident, even if you moved it back.
- Make sure the mod is listed among your loaded mods.
- Remember that another mod may trigger its own reloads. This mod only handles the unnecessary reload caused by the resource pack menu.
If you see no Cancel button, that is normal in the newest supported game version. Skipping the reload still works there.
