Smooth Camera Zooming

Zume is a client-side mod, so it works on any server without installation on the server side. Hold the zoom key to glide the camera in toward distant terrain, mobs, or structures; release it and the view eases back out instead of snapping.

While zoomed, scroll your mouse wheel to change magnification on the fly, or use the dedicated hotkeys to step through magnification levels one at a time. Mouse sensitivity is lowered while zoomed so you can aim precisely at faraway targets, and the cinematic camera keeps movement steady.

Because everything happens on your client, you can use Zume to inspect far-off landscapes or set up third-person screenshots without any server setup. Bind the zoom key and step keys in your controls settings to whatever feels comfortable, then hold, scroll, and release to look around.
