Make Glowing Eyes More Visible in Bright Conditions
Understand Eye Glow Mechanics
Zombie Horror makes mob eyes glow red primarily in dark environments. In daylight or well-lit areas, the glow effect becomes less noticeable because ambient light overpowers the shader's eye effect.
Optimize Your Viewing Angle
Position yourself so mobs are slightly in shadow or backlit by the sun. The contrast between darker fur/skin and the glowing eyes will make them stand out more. Avoid looking directly at mobs in full sunlight, as this washes out the effect.
Adjust Shader Settings
Open your shader configuration and look for:
- Eye glow multiplier — increase this value to make eyes brighter across all lighting conditions
- Glow bloom — if available, enable or strengthen bloom effects to make the red glow spread slightly
Use Nighttime for Best Results
The shader is designed to shine during night hours and in caves. If you want maximum impact from the glowing eyes feature, explore during these times. The horror atmosphere is most effective when lighting is naturally dim.
