How to Dual-Wield Custom Blades

Setting Up Dual-Wield Configuration

Dual-wielding in this resource pack works by equipping matching weapon models on both your main hand and shield slot.

Steps:

1. Rename a standard sword or dagger in an anvil to your chosen fantasy blade name (such as Winter Fang or Knight Killer)

2. Hold this weapon in your main hand

3. Rename a shield in an anvil to the same fantasy weapon name

4. Equip the renamed shield in your off-hand slot

5. Both items now display as matching dual weapons visually

Combat and Visual Effect

When both items share the same custom name, the resource pack renders them as a coordinated dual-wield pair. This is purely visual—the shield still functions as a shield for blocking, while the main-hand weapon retains its sword or dagger behavior. You can switch between different dual-wield combinations by renaming items to different fantasy weapon names and re-equipping them.
