Maintain Vanilla Aesthetics While Using Shaders

Choosing a Vanilla-Friendly LUT

Zenith's LUT Shaders is specifically designed to preserve Minecraft's classic blocky art style. To keep your world looking as close to vanilla as possible:

1. Select a LUT labeled as "vanilla," "neutral," or "faithful"

2. Avoid LUTs with extreme color shifts or heavy saturation changes

3. Test the LUT in different biomes and lighting conditions

What Stays the Same

Regardless of which LUT you choose, block shapes, textures, and item models remain unchanged. The shader only adjusts color values, not geometry or detail. Your builds will look recognizable, and custom texture packs will still work as intended.

This approach lets you enjoy a visual refresh without the jarring aesthetic changes of heavier shader packs. If a LUT feels too different, switch to another—there's always a more conservative option available that keeps your world feeling authentically Minecraft.
