Troubleshoot Visual Glitches or Incorrect Lighting

Check Shader Compatibility

If you see flickering shadows, missing lighting, or strange color shifts, first verify that Zayko Lite is actually active. Pause the game and confirm the shader name appears in the Shaders menu. If it's not listed, the mod may not have loaded correctly.

Reset to Default Settings

Open Shader Options and look for a Reset or Default button. Custom tweaks sometimes cause visual artifacts. Resetting clears these and lets you rebuild settings incrementally.

Check Lighting in Different Biomes

Some biomes or custom terrain may interact oddly with Zayko Lite's fantasy lighting. Visit caves, forests, deserts, and water areas to isolate where glitches occur. If problems only appear in specific locations, it's likely a world generation or mod conflict issue, not the shader itself.

Adjust Brightness and Gamma

If the world looks too dark or washed out, use Minecraft's Brightness slider (not shader settings). Zayko Lite's lighting is clean but sometimes needs your display's gamma adjusted to match your monitor's color profile.
