Adjust Shader Settings for Your Computer's Performance
Access Shader Options
Open your Minecraft pause menu and look for a Shaders or Shader Options button. This opens the settings panel where you can fine-tune Zayko Lite to match your PC's capabilities.
Key Settings to Adjust
Shadow Quality: Lower this setting if you experience frame drops. Zayko Lite's shadows are already optimized, but reducing them further helps older machines.
Lighting Detail: Dial back fantasy lighting effects if your frame rate stutters. The mod prioritizes speed, so you can safely reduce visual intensity without breaking gameplay.
Ambient Occlusion: Disable or reduce this if needed—it darkens crevices realistically but costs performance.
Test Your Changes
After adjusting each setting, load into your world and observe frame rates in different areas (caves, forests, open sky). Zayko Lite is designed to run smoothly even with most settings enabled, but your specific hardware may need tweaks.
Start with default settings, then lower one option at a time until you hit your target frame rate. This prevents over-optimizing and losing the visual improvements that make Zayko Lite worthwhile.
