What Changes in the Monument

YUNG's Better Ocean Monuments rebuilds the vanilla ocean monument into a much larger structure with randomized layouts, so no two monuments are laid out the same way. Instead of the familiar fixed floor plan, you get a sprawling complex of unique rooms to work through, which keeps exploration from feeling repetitive.

Loot and Danger

The reward structure is reworked as well. Loot chests scattered through the monument hold more interesting contents than the default ones, including items such as Tridents and the Heart of the Sea. New mobs are also added to the structure, raising the challenge of a dive and giving the extra rooms a real purpose.

Compatibility

The mod is built to work alongside world-generation mods like Terralith, so you can keep your existing terrain overhaul without the monument generation breaking. Bring proper underwater gear, since the larger layout means longer dives and more ground to cover before you reach the best loot.
