How to Summon the Ender Dragon in Better End Island

Why the Dragon Isn't Showing Up

In this mod, the Ender Dragon does not spawn when you first enter the End. The island will look different from vanilla, with redesigned obsidian pillars, a new spawn platform, and a central tower structure. If you're standing around waiting for the dragon to appear, it won't — you have to trigger it yourself.

Triggering the Fight

The summoning is proximity-based. Walk toward the central tower at the middle of the island. As you get close enough to the central structure, the Ender Dragon will spawn and the fight will begin normally. You don't need to place anything or use a command for the first summon — just approach the tower.

A few practical tips:

• Gear up and prepare your ender pearls, blocks, and bow before approaching, since the fight starts the moment you get close.
• If you're playing with friends, make sure everyone is ready before someone walks up to the tower.
• If the dragon still doesn't appear, make sure you're actually near the central tower and not just near the outer pillars.

Once summoned, the fight plays out like a standard Ender Dragon battle — destroy the end crystals on the pillars, then damage the dragon.
