How to Resummon the Ender Dragon Using Crystals in the Central Tower

The New Resummon Method

After you've defeated the dragon once, you may want to fight it again for more XP or to respawn the End gateway. This mod adds a new way to bring it back that doesn't require the classic four-crystal-on-the-portal setup.

Step-by-Step

1. Craft or gather four End Crystals.

2. Head to the central tower on the main island.

3. Inside the tower, locate the four special bedrock blocks.

4. Place one End Crystal on each of the four bedrock blocks.

Once all four crystals are placed on the bedrock blocks, the Ender Dragon will be resummoned and the fight restarts. The crystals you place will behave like the vanilla respawn crystals — they heal the dragon during the fight, so you'll want to destroy them as part of your strategy, just like in a normal dragon fight.

Good to Know

• The mod also still supports the classic vanilla method of placing four crystals on the exit portal to resummon the dragon, so you can use whichever method you prefer.
• Make sure you have your gear ready before placing the final crystal, since the dragon appears immediately.
• If something goes wrong with the island state, the mod provides an /end_island reset command you can use to restore the island.
