Create a Basic Configuration Screen for Your Mod
Setting Up Your Config Builder
YetAnotherConfigLib uses a builder pattern to construct config screens. Start by creating a new YetAnotherConfigLib instance and define your configuration categories.
Adding Options to Your Screen
1. Create option groups using the builder's category system
2. Add individual options (toggles, sliders, text fields) to each group
3. Bind each option to your mod's actual config file or settings object
4. Use descriptive names and tooltips so players understand what each setting does
5. Call build() to generate the screen
Registering Your Screen
Register your config screen with the mod menu integration so it appears when players click your mod's settings button. The screen will automatically match Minecraft's default aesthetic—no custom styling needed. YetAnotherConfigLib handles all the layout and formatting to keep your menu clean and readable, even with many options.
Test your screen in-game to ensure all bindings work and options save correctly to your config file.
