Interaction

• Right-click: Insert the item held in your hand.
• Double Right-click: Insert all matching items from your entire inventory.
• Left-click: Extract one full stack of items.
• Sneak + Left-click: Extract exactly one item.
• Right-click with Empty Hand: Opens the barrel's configuration GUI (if upgrades like Redstone are installed).

Locking

Barrels can be "locked" to a specific item type. When locked, the barrel will display the item icon even when empty and will refuse to accept any other item type. This is crucial for automated sorting systems to prevent items from ending up in the wrong slots.

Automation & Networking

The Item Barrel Connector is the primary tool for large-scale automation.

• Range: It scans for any barrels physically touching it or connected via Barrel Trims
• AE2 Integration: Attach an ME Storage Bus to the Connector to make your entire barrel wall accessible through your ME Terminal
