Using the Xrayreporter Mod on Your Server

How Xrayreporter Detects X-ray Cheats

Xrayreporter is a server-side mod that watches for players using X-ray cheats. When a player joins your server, the mod inspects their game to see whether they are hiding anything, such as cheat texture packs that make blocks transparent.

It relies on more than five different detection methods, which together give it accurate results. You do not need to run any commands or checks yourself — the mod performs them automatically on join.

If a player is found using an X-ray pack, the mod immediately sends a message to the server so you and your staff know right away. It also keeps a record of cheating players.

Where Reports Are Stored

Reports are saved in a folder created by the mod at /config/xray_reports/. Check this folder to review the players who have been flagged.
