How to Install Xray Ultimate Resource Pack

Installing Xray Ultimate

Xray Ultimate is a resource pack, not a mod, so installation goes through Minecraft's resource pack menu rather than a mod loader.

1. Open Minecraft and go to Options, then Resource Packs.

2. Choose "Open Pack Folder" to open the folder Minecraft reads packs from.

3. Place the Xray Ultimate pack file into that folder.

4. Return to the Resource Packs screen and move the pack from Available to Selected.

5. Confirm and apply.

For the intended effect, the pack relies on Optifine for the extra night vision. Turn off smooth lighting so hidden ores are visible. The pack uses a standard 16x resolution close to vanilla, so it should run without much trouble. Once enabled, ores and mineral blocks are highlighted, letting you see them through surrounding blocks.
