How to Enable and Configure Autofish in XPlus Autofish

Opening the Config

Press the config hotkey (V by default) while in-game to open the XPlus Autofish settings screen. If V conflicts with another mod, rebind it in your controls menu under the XPlus Autofish keybind category. From this screen you can toggle the mod on or off, adjust recast delay, and enable or disable sound-based detection.

Casting and Letting It Run

With autofish enabled, equip a fishing rod and right-click toward water to cast. Once the bobber lands, the mod takes over: it watches for a bite, reels in automatically, and recasts after the configured delay. You do not need to hold right-click or watch the screen. If you want it to keep the line out constantly on a laggy server, turn on Persistent mode so it recasts on a timer even when no bite is detected.

Tuning the Delay

Use the recast delay slider to control how long the mod waits before casting again. Adding a bit of randomness makes the timing look more natural on multiplayer servers. If catches are being missed, try sound-based detection instead of motion detection, since motion can desync when the server lags or when other mods alter bobber behavior.
