Understand the Custom Sky System

Xe 16x includes custom sky textures featuring a retro sun and purple-yellow aurora clouds designed to reduce eye strain during long matches. These visuals are part of the standard edition and work automatically once the pack is active.

Adjust Brightness for Sky Visibility

If the custom sky feels too dark or washes out your view, increase your in-game brightness slightly. The aurora clouds are designed to provide visual interest without blocking your sight line. If they feel distracting, check whether OptiFine's sky settings offer additional customization options.

Test in Different Conditions

Load into a match during different times—day and night cycles—to see how the custom textures perform. The pack's sky is optimized for both, but your personal preference matters. Some players prefer maximum clarity; others enjoy the aesthetic atmosphere.

Revert if Needed

If the custom sky negatively impacts your gameplay, you can disable it through OptiFine's texture options or switch to Xe Lite, which uses simpler sky visuals. The goal is maintaining competitive advantage while enjoying the pack's visual refresh.
