Finding Diamonds Efficiently with X-Ray

Locate the Right Depth

Diamonds spawn most frequently in the lower levels of your world. Enable the X-Ray pack and look for the characteristic blue ore blocks. They often cluster together, so spotting one usually means more are nearby.

Search Systematically

Fly or walk across your terrain at a consistent height, scanning the transparent ground below. The highlighted diamond ore will stand out clearly against the cleared blocks. Mark promising locations with torches or waypoints so you can return with proper mining tools.

Combine with Cave Exploration

X-Ray also reveals cave systems running through stone. Diamonds frequently appear on cave walls and ceilings. Use the transparent view to spot both exposed ore and caves that might lead you to diamond clusters. This dual visibility saves time compared to mining blindly.

Avoid Common Mistakes

Don't assume every ore cluster is worth mining immediately—check your current tools first. The pack shows lava pools too, so watch for orange blocks that indicate danger before you dig down.
