Combining the X Crosshair Pack With Other Resource Packs

Resource packs stack, and the crosshair is one small texture, so you can keep your favorite textures and still get the X.

Order matters

In Options > Resource Packs, packs higher in the list override packs below them. Put the X Crosshair pack above any pack that also changes the crosshair, and below packs you want to keep for blocks, items, and sounds. If your main pack already edits the crosshair, the X pack must sit on top of it or you will still see the old crosshair.

When it does not show up

• Another pack higher in the list is overriding the crosshair texture. Move the X pack up.
• A HUD or crosshair mod is drawing its own crosshair over the game's. Disable that mod's crosshair in its config.
• The pack is for a different pack format than your game version. Check the pack description for the format it targets and use a matching version.

Quick test

Toggle only the X pack on, confirm the X appears, then re-enable your other packs one at a time until you find the one that hides it. Reorder accordingly and reload with F3+T.
