Enable and Adjust Visual Effects Quality

Using the VFX Toggle Command

Visual effects translucency can be customized to match your PC's performance and visual preference. Use the in-game command system to switch between quality levels.

Steps

1. Open the chat window (default: T key)

2. Type /toggle vfx followed by your desired level:

• low — Minimal visual effect rendering, best for low-end systems
• medium — Balanced quality and performance (recommended default)
• high — Enhanced translucency and effect detail
• unlimited — Maximum visual fidelity with no performance optimization

3. Press Enter to apply the change immediately

4. The setting persists across server sessions

Fine-Tuning in Video Settings

After setting your VFX level, open Video Settings to access adjustment sliders for:

• Glint Brightness — Controls how bright weapon and item glints appear
• Tint Strength — Adjusts color saturation of special effects like Rainbow and Aurora glints
• Scene Darkening — Modulates overall ambient darkness when shaders are active

These sliders work in combination with your shader pack's own settings, allowing precise control over the final visual output.
