Prevent Custom Biomes from Breaking Apart

Why Biomes Fragment

When multiple world generation mods interact without proper coordination, biome placement algorithms can conflict. This causes custom biomes to shatter into disconnected pieces, creating a checkerboard effect instead of natural terrain regions.

Using WorldWeaver to Maintain Biome Integrity

WorldWeaver acts as a compatibility layer that prevents these conflicts. It stabilizes how biome groups communicate with the terrain generation system, ensuring each biome stays unified.

Setup Steps

1. Install WorldWeaver alongside your other world generation mods

2. Start a new world (existing worlds won't benefit from the fix)

3. Explore your custom biomes to confirm they form solid regions

4. If you're using Enderscape, TerraBlender, or BetterEnd together, WorldWeaver specifically handles their interactions

Testing Compatibility

Traveling through a properly-fixed biome should show gradual transitions to neighboring biomes, not sudden jumps between tiny patches. If fragmentation persists, verify all mods are up to date and that you're in a newly-generated world.
