What WorldWeaver Does and Which Mods Need It
About WorldWeaver
WorldWeaver is a world-generation library. It is not a content mod on its own — it does not add blocks, items, biomes or mobs you can play with directly. Instead, it provides the shared world-generation code that the BetterX family of mods builds on.
Because it is a library, you normally install it as a dependency rather than for its own sake. If you install a BetterX mod and the game fails to start or the mod loader reports a missing dependency, WorldWeaver is usually the piece that is missing. Adding it alongside the BetterX mod resolves that.
On its own, WorldWeaver does nothing visible in-game. It has no gameplay features to configure and no content to explore. Its job is to make the BetterX mods' terrain, biome and feature generation work consistently, so that those mods do not each have to reimplement the same generation logic.
If you are not using any BetterX mod, you generally do not need WorldWeaver.
