Keep Your Server Responsive While Running WorldEdit

Maintaining Server Performance

This mod ensures your server stays responsive during WorldEdit operations by preventing thread blocking. However, responsiveness depends on proper setup.

Configuration Steps

1. Place the mod in your server's mods folder alongside WorldEdit

2. Restart the server to load the mod

3. Run WorldEdit commands normally — there are no special configuration files to edit

Monitoring Responsiveness

  • Check your server's TPS (ticks per second) using /tps or similar commands
  • The mod prevents *hangs* (complete freezes), not lag spikes
  • Large operations will still consume CPU; the mod just prevents the server from becoming unresponsive
  • Players can continue playing while WorldEdit processes in the background

When to Split Operations

If your server TPS drops significantly, break your WorldEdit work into smaller selections rather than attempting massive region operations at once. The mod keeps things responsive, but server resources are still limited.
