Using WorldEditCUI with Polygon, Convex Hull and Cylinder Selections

Why the Mod Helps Most Here

Simple cuboid selections are easy to picture, but polygon, convex hull and cylinder selections are hard to judge from coordinates alone. WorldEditCUI draws these shapes accurately in the world so you can see the true footprint before you edit anything.

1. Switch to the selection mode you want using the WorldEdit selection command for that shape (for example the polygon or cylinder mode).

2. Add your points or set your radius and height using the normal WorldEdit steps for that mode.

3. Watch the outline update as you add each point, so you can correct mistakes before finishing.

Practical Tips

  • For polygon and convex hull selections, add points one at a time and check the outline after each so you do not create a self-intersecting or lopsided shape.
  • For cylinders, confirm the radius and height visually, since an off-by-one mistake is easy to miss with numbers alone.
  • If the shape looks wrong, clear the selection and start again rather than trying to patch it.

Seeing the real shape is the whole point of the mod, so lean on the outline to verify before running any fill, replace or copy operation.
