Troubleshooting: WorldEditCUI Outline Not Showing

Check the Basics First

If you expected an outline and see nothing, work through the common causes in order.

1. Confirm the server actually has WorldEdit installed and that you have permission to make selections. Without a server-side selection there is nothing for the mod to draw.

2. Make sure you have an active selection. Run a selection command and watch for the server's confirmation message.

3. Verify the mod is loaded on your client. It is client-side only, so it must be present in your own game, not the server.

Other Things to Try

• If you recently changed selection modes, re-make the selection so the outline refreshes to the new shape.
• A very large selection can be heavy to render. If the game stutters, consider working with smaller regions.
• If the outline vanished after a server hiccup or reconnect, simply re-select your region.

What Not to Expect

The mod does not add commands, does not change how selections work, and does not affect other players. It only visualizes the selection the server already knows about. If selections themselves are failing, the problem is with WorldEdit or your permissions, not the CUI display.
