Item Restoration During Repair

When you use the Fix World Corruption button, the mod attempts to recover lost items using backup data files stored in your world folder.

How Item Recovery Works

1. The repair process scans for backup NBT data associated with your world

2. If backups exist, the mod restores items to your inventory or drops them in the world

3. Items are recovered based on the most recent backup state available

4. The restoration happens automatically—no additional steps required

Limitations

Item recovery focuses on world generation issues and may not restore items if:

• The corruption affected deep item data structures
• No backup data exists for your world
• Items were lost before the mod was installed

If critical items remain missing after repair, check your world folder for any manual backup files you may have created previously. The mod prioritizes world structure integrity over item data, so some inventory loss is possible in severe corruption cases.
