Fix a World After Removing a Terrain Generation Mod

When Your World Won't Load

If you removed a world generation mod and your save file no longer loads, this mod provides a quick recovery path without manual file editing.

Steps to Repair

1. Launch Minecraft with the World Corruption Fixer Mod installed

2. Go to the singleplayer world selection menu

3. Locate your broken world in the list

4. Look for the "Fix World Corruption" button displayed on the world entry

5. Click the button to begin the automatic repair process

6.

7. Once finished, your world will load normally

What Happens During Repair

The mod preserves all your previously built and explored chunks while resetting the world seed for unmapped areas. This means your bases, builds, and explored terrain remain intact, but newly generated chunks will use fresh terrain generation. The process also attempts to restore items from backup data when possible.

Note: If your world still fails to load after repair, the corruption may involve deep item data issues beyond what this mod can fix.
