The World Border Variant Resource Pack is a texture replacement pack, not a gameplay mod. It changes only the visual texture used by Minecraft's world border, swapping the default look for a more modern and distinct design. Because it is a resource pack, it does not alter border behavior, damage, or mechanics in any way.

The purpose is visibility. The redesigned border stands out more clearly against terrain and sky, so you can spot the edge of your world from a distance. This helps in adventure maps, survival challenges, and custom servers where knowing exactly where the boundary sits matters.
