What Wool Tweaks Changes

Wool Tweaks is a small, vanilla-friendly mod that reworks how dye interacts with wool, beds, and carpets. Normally you can only dye white wool, but with this mod you can recolor wool of any existing color. The same applies to beds and carpets, so you no longer need to start from a white base.

Dyeing in the Crafting Grid

Place any color of wool, bed, or carpet into a crafting grid together with a dye. The result is that item in the new color. This works for every wool color, not just white, which makes recoloring leftover wool much easier.

Dyeing Placed Blocks

You can also apply dye directly in the world. Hold a dye and right-click a placed wool block, bed, or carpet to change its color on the spot. No need to break and replace anything.

Wool to String

A recipe converts any color of wool block into four string, giving survival players a reliable way to turn unwanted wool into string.
