Not all biomes receive equal updates. Woodlands focuses on making certain areas feel wilder and more detailed:

• Dark Forest: Extremely tall, dense trees creating a thick canopy
• Taiga: Taller spruce trees with more realistic proportions
• Swamps: Willow-like trees with hanging vines and lush vegetation
• Mushroom Islands: Unique tree layouts with custom shapes
• Cherry Groves: Updated tree designs matching the biome's aesthetic
• Savanna: Flat-topped acacia trees with golden grass

Exploring Strategy

If you want dramatic landscape changes, head toward forest biomes first. Dark Forests and Taigas show the most noticeable differences. Swamps offer a completely different atmosphere with their custom tree designs.

Plains and smaller biomes receive ground cover updates (more flowers and grass) rather than tree overhauls, so they're less visually striking. Combine exploration with a tree-chopping mod to harvest resources efficiently from these enhanced forests.
